I pictured this piece as an iceberg. From the surface it appears still and steady, yet so much of what keeps it afloat exists beneath the water, unseen.
As I near the end of this pregnancy, I've found myself held by an incredible community. My midwives, my osteopath, my friends and my mum have each become part of the unseen support beneath me. The appointments, the conversations, the reassurance and simply having someone beside me have carried more weight than I ever expected.
This artwork is a quiet thank you to the people who help keep me afloat. The ones who hold me together through their care, their presence and their kindness. I leave each interaction feeling a little lighter, a little steadier and reminded that I don't have to carry this season alone.
