Night Falls Softly
Some artworks are ready to be shared straight away while others quietly wait for the right time.
This piece has been tucked away in my studio for years. Although it may look similar to works I've created more recently, it actually came long before them. It's always been a quiet favourite of mine and one I've never quite been ready to let go of.
Following a river beneath a night sky, this painting became a place to experiment, practise new techniques and simply enjoy the process of creating. There was no pressure for it to become anything more than a chance to learn and explore.
