Fish
This piece was inspired by my uncle. He was incredible artist with animals generally being at the forefront of his artworks. I've always wanted to create pieces like his. The important thing to me was for the artworks to feel like me, not to get lost in trying to recreate his work. I’ve always had the vision but never the ability to quite bring it to life so I’ve always dropped the brush and thought, come back to this one day, don’t force it. Having my hands full with Billy and the urge to still create and express myself has been a juggle. So I’ve picked up the iPad from the back of the cupboard, there’s no mess to tidy and I can easily jump in and out of my creations. From there it flowed, it must be the time. I’m really proud of the pieces I’ve been creating, they’re what I’ve always imagined them to be. I really hope you love them too.
